Kandis Foley
Kandis enjoys opportunities to coach others in discovering and reaching meaningful goals. With over 20 moves under her belt she settled in the Seattle suburbs. Originally a software developer, she also liked being a director in theater, a lead mentor in Robotics teams, and a board member of the state science fair. She returned to software full-time at Expeditors a few years ago and now finds job fulfillment in serving her team as a Scrum Master. She considers her biggest accomplishment to be the raising and homeschooling of five children up to college.
With several speaking opportunities a year, Kandis joined Toastmasters to gain official training and meet new people. As VP of Education, she encourages and assists members to take advantage of the opportunities offered through Toastmasters.
Officer Responsibilities for Vice President of Education
As Vice President Education (VPE), you schedule your club members’ speeches, verify the completion of projects, and serve as a resource for questions about the Toastmasters Pathways learning experience, speech contests, and your club mentor program.

- Make sure all meetings are set up in Easy-speak
- Push to have roles filled for each meeting
- Assist people with website navigation as needed
- Attend monthly Toastpeditors officers meetings
- Attend district-wide officer’s training twice a year
